Acupuncture Is offered at The Bluffs Chiropractic!

What is acupuncture?
Acupuncture was created thousands of years ago in Ancient China as a way to alleviate pain and treat disease. Through the years, acupuncture has been refined and heavily studied. Acupuncture aids the body to alleviate symptoms on its own.

How does acupuncture work?
Acupuncture is based around the energies that circulate in the body through channels called meridians. These meridians can become imbalanced due to various types of stress on the body. Acupuncture works by using small needles, often painless, to help balance the body, reduce symptoms, and help the patient achieve optimal health.

How much does acupuncture cost and will insurance pay?
Acupuncture costs $20 per treatment. Unfortunately, insurance does not cover acupuncture.

How long will it take to see results?
While some people experience a change after the first treatment, others can expect to experience results in 2-15 visits.

Is it safe?
Acupuncture is very safe. After an examination to determine one's eligability for acupuncture, needles are placed in the skin to achieve the desired results. The needles used are new for every patient and for every treatment. This help achieve the highest standard in safety and effectiveness.

Who will be performing acupuncture?
Dr. Joshua Lippincott and Dr. Mike are both licensed in acupuncture.
